I learned Japanese and English pretty much simultaneously. My mother is Japanese and my father is American.
I guess that makes me a mutt smile

I'll accept all of your *lovely* non staked challenges. If you are at level eleventy billion with a gazillion Bimbo Attitude . . . don't even waste your keystrokes with a staked challenge.

I can speak Polish (mother tongue) English and German (but not fluently). Once I started learning French but stopped after a week. And I woud love to learn some Spanish.

English and Dutch...because I lived in the Netherlands for 18 months.
I'm really keen to learn Spanish sometime soon.

i speak 4 languages fluently : dutch and french (native) 'cuz those are the 2 languages in my country, english and german
and i can speak a little bit of italian smile

I speak English. I took 5 years of Spanish, but all I can say is "donde esta el bano" and "Necesito la cerveza". Sorry, I'm too lazy to figure out how to do tildas and such. I'm so embaressingly American.

English fluently (or at least American English, my native tongue)
Portuguese fluently (sou Portuguesa)
Spanish conversationally (no lo utiliso frequentamente)
French, just a little (parce que je l'etudie avec l'ecole)
German, just a few words (ein bischen)

Not bad for an American (alot of us don't realize there are other countries that speak something other than English ... or English really loud and slowly)

4 Japanese , English , Chinese , Malay . I only speak a little french Bon appetite ( i don't know how to spell but i can pronounce) ...So I don't count that as 1 language:)

Hm I would say I speak 2 languages, because german is my native language and I also speak english. 
I also learned spanish for 4 years in school and am currently studying Chinese. Those two don't count really since my spanish is terrible and I just started chinese one year ago and I am not very good at it yet.

I speak english,german,romanian and spanish wink
Still learning french lol but I'm not good at all tongue
I also know a few words in Japanese,but that doesen't count as a known language tongue
