Hello
This is our official sports/olympics poll to garner which role models and female sports stars bimbo players most relate to. We have chosen 10 sports stars from around the world and are intersted to know which one you most admire.
These results will be used published (in the form of a press release) as Miss Bimbo is rapidly becoming a unique place where we can get a cross section of views of the general female populace across 3 different age categories. Your interesting and diverse opinions are a valuable source of information.
Thanks
Miss Bimbo HQ

I have a question if that's ok?
Published where? Is missbimbo.com getting asked to do market research on behalf of other companies?

I love Ana Ivanovich. She just seems so lovely!
She spends heaps of time in Aus too, so thats good!

I would agree with Izzypop *check the other poll about it to read my opinion about Ivanonic!

This poll needed an 'other' option to cover female atheletes not listed. I would've chosen Dana Torres or Sue Bird.

I agree! I was sooo disappointed to not find an 'other' option.
Gogo Torres!

Katie Hoff and Dara Torres!

I also have a question. Why do the guys on this site not have their own poll similar to this one? Are they excluded from the sampling you're doing?

Offline

I voted Ana I.
I think she is a good player and shows a good character wether she is winning or losing.

Are those all tennis players? lol...well it would never be Anna Kournikova, she's not that good of a tennis player anyways.

Anyways, I like Michael Phelps. He doesnt let all his medals go to his head, and that's rare. He just seems really down to earth, and he's obviously a very talented and determined athlete. Whatever goals he sets for himself he accomplishes.

I am not voting on this one, seeing as the persons I admire is not there. Sanna Kallur and Carolina Klüft is probably two of their kind. They are down to earth and do not let their good results go to their heads like it does with many other athlets..

I only recognize two people on this list and neither of them is my role model.
Michael Phelps and Jonathan Horton are my new heroes.
I wish I had a son that could be inspired by these guys enthusiasm and pride in their sports.

I do not consider sports "stars" to be much of role models at all, so I can't really vote in this. I believe they get paid much more money than they should just to "entertain" when the people who can really make a difference (e.g. teachers, nurses, etc.) make so much less and get less recognition when they are the ones that SHOULD be recognized.

Not to be rude, but I hardly think that someone like Dara Torres (who has won a silver medal, yay!) makes excessive amounts of money per year. She just loves what she does.

Trust me, I understand that. I respect and admire many of the Olympic athletes (I want to see if Michael Phelps can get that eighth gold), because it is obvious how dedicated they are and such. My problem with actually with professional athletes (like the members of the US Olympics basketball team) who are, more often than not, in it for the money, not for the love the sport. And, did you see Torres in the relay? That was impressive!

Woohoo for Michael Phelps and his record breaking 8th Gold Medal, 7 World records and 1 Olympic Record for these Olympic games!!!
