ok not all teenage moms are bad, infact i think its a great thing for them to have a baby if it happens as a accident.
i thought i might become one a month ago, i use contraception but i missed few periods so saw the nurse but i wasn't ( just lost some weight so period stopped ...) and in a way i was a lil sad ,but then i thought about my moms reaction and my bfs.... thy prob wouldn't have been to happy, and then giving birth how scary does that look!
but i can see there point about being loved i guess , i knw my bf loves me and my dad and brother but i just remember thinking how cool it would be to have a child love me what ever i do i guess. so yeah atm i dnt think im really ready for a baby ill stick with my pets n bf
but these girls planning it in a group how stupid can you get!! but when you think about it peer pressure your in a gruop of mates and every is doing something so u join in to dnt u because you dont want to be left out....
and as for the parents not wanting there kids given birth control.. why??? do you want your kids raising babies of there own , possibly ruining there lives...
xx

what i meant was like a condom bursting, or being ill while on the pill...
then at least they are facing up to there mistake and not just having a abortion, in very anti abortion btw.

I haven't read through this whole thread, but above anything else, I feel sorry for the children born due to this pact. ::sigh::

Not all teenage moms are bad, no. But majority of them are still irresponsible and not mature enough to take care of a small life like that. Many think that a baby is easy to take care of and they do not think that it is a comittment for life. First all those sleepless nights when the baby wakes up in the most stupid hours.. all the nights when the baby is sick in fever. Then there is the terrible twos or terrible threes, there is when they start to come independent, when they want this and when they want that.. then we have the teens.. Many teenages that want to have a baby young, do no think on it.. all they want is the wee baby becasue they want one and cause they are cute..
And many do not take the responsibility of the child is an accident. There are loads that do an abortion.. In some cases it is probably better than having the baby. I am not saying it is right or wrong, but at the same time I am being realistic.
I find it sickening that teenages are doing this through a pact and I hope their parents will give them a great whallop and this is coming from someone who does not believe in spanking children, but I am able to make an exception in this subject. Irresponsible is the nicest word I can come up with at this stage.

When I first heard about this, I thought it was just a joke... Sadly, it was not..
I think it's really sad and at the same time it makes me so mad. It so egotistically of them to get pregnant just to have someone to love them... Who will love the babies?

That's just horrible. I don't see why teenage girls would give up their virginity to someone they know they probably won't end up marrying and getting pregnant without thinking about the responsibilities they will have when they are raising the child, and at the same time, going through school at the same time. That is, if these ladies aren't planning on dropping out so they can take better care of the child.
I know a pure Mexican born girl who had once been pregnant. She was in my world geography class when I was a freshman. And she was visibly pregnant. It looked like she was due in a few weeks. And I remember that on more than one occasion during the week, she would be absent because of her morning sickness (it was first period).
It was only until around the end of the first semester that she was absent for nearly a month and that we all assumed that she was having her baby. And sure enough. When she returned, she looked as if she had never been pregnant before; a completely flat stomach. And she brought a picture of her new baby boy with her to show off. She seemed happy to have a child. And I suppose that's what really counts.
But I would have much rather she waited at least until she graduated high school or college. My friend, Jen wants to have a child with her "fiance". But he keeps fussing at her that it would be better to wait after they finished school. *sigh* Ridiculous.
*rant over*

Are the girls even Thinking about the children that they are carrying?!
They have a huge responsibility now and i feel so sorry for the kids that come out of this twisted thing.
Its wrong.
And using a Homeless stranger to get pregnant is stupid and dangerous.
All of them need there heads sorting out

Surely these girls see that something as childish as a pact with their little friends is a grade A example of why they shouldn't be having kids in the first place?!
The mind boggles, it really does!
What I really hate though is the blaming it on films or tv or whatever - obviously these are impressionable and idiotic children, but anyone old enough to physically get pregnant (even if they're only 13/14/whatever) is old enough to know the difference in real life and fiction.

If a teenage girl be comes pregnant on purpose it makes me mad
Its not in the best interest of them or the baby!
But if a teenage girl becomes pregnant in accident and decides to keep it i dont have a aproblem
that happened to my mate, she was on the pill but had been sick that month so it wasnrt valid
and thye used a condom but it split so she took the morning after
but was sick again but by then it was too late for her to take another
and shes against abortion and believe it was obvviously ment to happen
shes now expecting a little boy in september! Shes so excited
but so scared!
Those girls in the pat are so stupid.
They havent thought anything through
& a homeless guy? I mean really..
She could of picked up anything. As homeless people sleep with each other
but obvs dont use condoms =/
Urgh those girls make me mad
& what about the dad of their baby? =/
And the girls parents? Oh dear.. Its a huge mess.
wow how silly can those little girls be. as for u'r friend it does seem like it was ment to happen, like thats to much to happen to be a coincidence. congrats 2 your amigo

In the story I heard on CNN, I thought they said he was a 34 year old homeless guy.

most people disagree with me on this, but my idea is to sterilize all newborns, and then make people go through a series of tests to make sure they're capable of raising kids at the age of 25 in order to have it reversed. kind of like a driver's liscense but for procreation!
**disclaimer**(please don't call me a monster since this isn't even possible)

not yet, but i'm in the lab right now trying to fix that, so far no luck. once i cut off the cat's weewee, i can't seem to figure out how to reattach in a way that it still functions.
**disclaimer**(no cat's weewees were harmed)

These girls are such idiots. it's one thing o accidentally get pregnant as a teen, butto plan it because your friends want to is dumb. if you want to raise your children w/ your friends wait until you are out of high school and have a real job.
I am in High school right now and i would never do that

I just don't understand where the idea came from of having a baby with someone means they love you.
I'm sure 15 year old teenagers are not that stupid to realize that.
I mean come on, you put the rest of us to shame.
Also they teach this poop in school, about teenage pregnancy.
If it was an accident, its still not good to keep it, but just to make sure there is someone in your family to help you take care of it.
I do understand bout not getting abortions, i know i probably wouldn't.

This is awful.
A girl in my year is pregnant, I think having the baby will be good for her but shes still smoking like a chimney and hanging around with all her smoker friends.
Its sad how so many women who would be great mothers are unable to have their own children but that some stupid teen mothers are able to have kids, it just isnt fair.
Aaaand, what girl in her right mind would sleep with a homeless guy??
