I had similar experiences to Anjali22. Our family home was also brand new (we built it) and from the age of 12 until we moved out last year I had so many strange experiences there and hated being left on my own. I saw an orb fly out at me from our utility room, had someone press down on me in bed, what felt like a cat jump on my feet (when I was in bed), heard scratching all round my room (my sister heard this too), saw a small boy walk across our hall (I thought it was my brother but he was in his room at the time), electrical items would turn on and off, I saw a lady in a long dress walk past our kicthen doors, heard children laughing while playing in our wood, heard horses walking along our drive and lastly I saw a soundless black shadow ''flying'' down the lane that ran past our house. My Mum and Sister also had a few experiences...my Mum also saw orbs and my Sister heard people moving on our stairs quite often.

Our house was built on a plot of land that used to belong to a farm but apart from that no other building was built there. The funny thing is we moved to a victorian house and I never had any experiences there.

Even after all these experiences I'm still slightly skeptical...I'm very much an academic/scientific person...but it still scares me when I think about all the things that happened there!

I think one of the weirdest things that ever happened to me was when I was driving along with my mum. We were driving round a corner where on the oppposite side of the road there were loads of cars parked when out of no where a truck appeared. We both closed our eyes because we were about to crash but when we opened them there was no truck and we were still alive lol. Neither of us could see how the truck could have missed us without crashing into the parked cars and we've still not figured it out!

okay,at this moment i'm all alone in big house (hope so) and i actually always feel sth...sometimes i'm totally sure that i'm notalone,i just feel presence of sth,and sometimes i don't feel anything...

okay...this is scary...adieu to this topic   

on a 4 lane hiway i was rear ended by a semi truck and realized i was going across all4 lanes and would stike the concreate deviding wall straight on. instead of striking the wall the car crossed back over the 4 lanes without ever being hit by another vehicle and came to rest on the burm of the road facing in the right direction. the back of my car was demolished. the front was unscratched and i only had a slight concusion. I believe it was a a miracle, Gods protection.

I'm still kinda skeptical about it all, but I'm always right when I try and predict stuff. I was doing a reading for my friend, and I predicted that we were gonna stop being friends. I stopped believing in it there and then, because I thought we would always be friends. Two months later, we had a fight to end all fights and haven spoken since then. FREAKY!!!

how did you learn that,where,why..?

I got a "Tarot for Teens" set a few years ago. There was a book that came with it, but I don't use it. I would use the cards on someone, and even if I hadn't read about that card in the book, I'd get a sort of vibe of what the card meant. I know it sounds really weird, but that's how I use them! I just sort of stare at them and then it's like a lightbulb switches on in my head! It's really cool. I'm not sure where my mum got them from, but if you live in the UK, if you ever go to London, go to Camden Market. I'm sure they'll have them there, and someone will probably teach you a bit about them.

I can barely play regular cards... I thought Tarot was real hard to read...

One night when I was home alone I was upstairs on the computer when all of a sudden my hair dryer turned on. I nearly jumped out of my skin. I went in to the room where it was(bedroom) and shut it off. I sat down at the computer again when I heard what sounded like someone running up and down my stairs. This went on for about 5 to 10 minutes. I was so frightened I just huddled in a corner. When I got enough courage I jumped down the stairs and ran out the front door. I ran down the hall way and literally jumped down 10 steps.

The house was across the street from a cemetery. How's that for weird????

I actually don't mind it! Sometimes I don't even notice it, and other times it's actually quite comforting. I can't sleep in total silence, so I usually have the radio on, but one day my radio broke, and it was really quiet. I got into bed, dreading sleeping in silence, but then the tapping started and it stayed all night!

I haven't...I think it'd be amazingly awesome though. (butnot if it happened too much, or if I couldn't control it.) I know a girl who swears she saw her brother's ghost at the back of the gym when they were practicing for Choir...I'm not sure if she was just imagining it or if it was real, but she got really, really emotional afterwards. (Understandably).

Does anyone know of any freaky public places?
I saw one in Hever Castle....
also in Leeds Castle, my husband took a photo and when we enlarged it on the computer there's a blob of light. The thing was it was taken in the dark in the middle of winter... the light wasn't the flash either.

I call it an orb.

I was at church at a meeting one day, there was a good few people in the room. Anyway, after praying and worshipping etc, one guy noticed gold dust on his hands so he asked the next person and she had it too.
It was weird, we were all covered in this dust and won't wash off. Soap and water was used..

We've put it down the the Holy Spirit!

So I guess not all paranormal experiences have to be Evil or Bad!
