So i was looking at the 2012 thread, and then i started thinking about if it does end.
And then came the thought " Will I pass judgment day?" I dont really think I will, but its not up to me.
So do you guys think you will pass?

I don't believe in God or the devil so, I can't really comment.

If the religious fanatics who keep telling me I'll go to heck are right, I'm quite happy to not pass judgment. I'd rather never spend eternity with them. Instead, we'll have barbeque parties.

I have also been told that I'm going to heck.

The jokes goes a bit further with improprieties regarding aborted fetuses, but I don't want a mod on my tail. D;
Yeah, I pretty much live for annoying the religious fanatics on the internet. Proselytizing on the internet is pretty much pointless, anyway. But I'm more respectful/avoidant in real life. >.< My family's trying to get around the fact that I'm not religious by changing their views some. So now my sister thinks that as long as you're a good person, you get into heaven. XD

A. I'm religious.
B. I don't think I'm a fanatic.
C. I really am sorry for anyone who says that to you. It's not any "christian's" place to say whether or not you're going to heaven. It's God's. Many Christian's love to overlook the best verse in the Bible:
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?God will judge those outside... (1 Corinthians 5:12-13)
D. I don't care (well I kinda do, but not for this argument) if you believe in the Bible or not, but I HATE it when "fundamentalists" think it's OK to essentially mock my God by doing terrible things like that. I'm sorry.
E. I hope I do make it pass "judgment" day. But I guess it's not really my call.

I don't like the idea of heaven and heck.
Just say I got into heaven, and my friends and family went to heck because they didn't repent before they died. It wouldn't be heaven for me. How could I have eternal bliss when my friends are being burnt alive?

Okay, lol, having their souls burnt for all eternity.
I don't know how a soul gets burnt? But, there you go lol.

Haha. I'm glad you didn't take offense.
Besides, all the imagery of "heck" comes from Revelations which is laden with metaphors, similes and the like. I mean, obviously I don't know what heck is like, but I think people jump to conclusions with it being like fire. Right there- metaphor! It's like fire... that would insinuate something else that is similar. Anywho, this is a technicality that is not to take away from your main point (loved ones to be in eternal anguish).
A lot of things people mistake for Christianity (Christians and non-christians alike) are actually brought forward by literature.

Christian historians actually think Revelations was about Nero, not a future yet to come. >.>;; I like watching the History Channel and listening during my mandatory religions class (Catholic college -__-).

I was talking to a preacher person, and he said heck wasn't down below where you go and get burnt. He said heck meant 'not with God' and heck many many years ago was a wasteland where people would be forced to go as a punishment.
I think this thread is safe from closure as long as everyone's mature about the topic, they don't force their opinions on anyone and is not rude/disrespectful

I am right there with you. I have had the most mean spirited people tell me that they were going to heaven and if I didn't live exactly like them I would go to heck. My reply to them was if all the people in heaven are like all of you, I'll take heck please....not that I believe in heaven or heck....
