I am in my second year of studying education, and I have come to realize that I don't want to be a teacher, I want to study Psychology. I haven't told my friends or family, as they all would love me to become a teacher. What should I say? I don't want to be so blunt as to one day say "I don't want to be a teacher".

As a person who had four different major over 6 years in school and attended 2 universities: yes, just tell them. I started in education (my mother and uncle are teachers) and ended up in biology. Yes, they mention that i should have stayed in it from time to time (especially since I sub. teach to save money for grad school) but i'm happy with what i ended up in.
You'll never be happy if you don't follow your heart so go for it.

make sure you follow your dream, because when you older you will rethink of it, and you would say i made a mistake i shouldn't have not did teaching, i say tell your parents and your friend, but if they put you down, make sure no matter what you, make sure you follow your dream, because the same thing happen to my dad but it wanted to work on cars, but instead he became a bus driver
Make sure you follow your dreams

No need to be blunt. I'm sure if you sit them down, and let them know why you don't want to be a teacher anymore, they'll respect your wish. They may be a little sad but I'm sure that they would rather see you happy than miserable as a teacher.
After all, you have decades ahead of you! You don't want to be doing something you hate for the rest of your life, now do you?
