Hey, this weekend I am going for an ''informal'' interview, as the mother called it, and I was wondering if you had any suggestions for me? This is my first time babysitting for a stranger. I'm 16 and we are meeting at a coffee shop (my mother is coming). Their daughter is 2.

Don't dress inappropriately (no midriff-baring, cleavage showing shirts and no super short skirts), don't swear, don't talk on your cell phone or answer your cell phone if it rings during the interview. Other than that, since it is "informal," just be yourself!

Do mention if you know CPR and other things like that, mention if you've babysitted for relatives and what age groups you are familiar with.

Dress smart/casual, don't be worried.. it's only babysitting (i'm 16 in september and i already babysit for 5 different families!)
just be chatty, happy and excited about the job, take interest in the kid and you'll be fine!

Talk and play with the child, show its mother your good with kids.
Be chatty to the mother, offer to get her a coffee and the little one a drink or some sweets.
Try not to seem like you know everything about kids.
BE YOURSELF!!!!
Wear something like a tshirt and jeans and dont plaster yourself in make up !!
When she asks ou a question be honset ans ask her what is the pay before accecpting (excuse my spelling) the job!
Some people will make a mug out of you and hand you a tenner after you being there all night!!
Good luck Doll
Ps hun no need to lie about your age!!
It says on ur profile your 18 but on ur message you say ur 16!
