This is really a great thread, I've always wanted to download photoshop and learn how to use it. I think it wouldn't b that hard to use it but I have a different problem.
I've tried to find a download of photo shop but there isn't any. Or I don't spell it correctly? Can anyone give me a link of free but good version of this program?
Thanks ^^

I downloaded my photoshop for free... it wasn't the latest version but I prefer it so much to Paint and PaintShop Pro. Version 7.0 is what I have... not sure what the newest is? Anywho, I downloaded from my P2P program, Ares. Same thing I use to download music. It came with the serial # and all.

Hi everyone. I've had a few PMs asking me how to do simple colour changes in Photoshop. So I thought I'd post here a guide as to how I do it. Hopefully you'll find it useful. This technique works well on areas that contrast to other colours on the page. If you're using skin tones for example, you'll need to mask off the area you want to change first. Here I'm using a highly contrasting turquoise dress to demonstrate.
Step1. In the Image tab, select Adjustments, then Replace Colour. A new window will pop up.

Step 2. First, use the pipette (1) in the top left to select the colours you want to change. Use the middle tool, with the plus (+) symbol, to add to your selection. The central image (2) shows you which areas you have selected. Make sure you click on the main colour, as well as the shadows and highlights, to get a natural looking colour change. Click on the Result box (3) in the bottom right to bring up a colour palette.

Step 3. Use the slider to select the colour you would like to change to, then use the mouse to click in the target colour box to select in greater detail. I have chosen a golden colour. Click OK.

Step 4. Use the sliders at the bottom to fine tune your colour change. I have changed the lightness to make the gold look more vibrant. Make sure you click OK, otherwise all your hard work will be for nothing! And that's it.

Latest version is Adobe Photoshop CS3 but if you have an oldest version some things might change...

hmm...i'm using Roxio photo suit..it's quiet simple, but effective,. the most time i add pictures, cut them out, and put them together..a good way to make it all look good is using the option "edge fading",.,.that makes the things more rounded and they melt together,.,.here are some screenshots
this is my naked bimbo edited in paint,..just some outlines for the future dress
now i add a picture that i like
and cut it out (with tracing, or some pre-maid shapes- circle,star...

now i copy and paste the little cutouts and put them together,.
and here's the final result

Yeah, the professional photoshop version. Theres no legal way to get it for free.
Of course, you can download it illegally or crack it, but I wouldn't do that. Like said it's illegal.
But there's also Photoshop Elements, which is a non-professional app and waaaay cheaper.
It would be around 120 US $.
If you don't want to pay at all, I can recommend GIMP. It's a freeware app. Just google for it.
