Wow, Victoria, those are really good!! I especially love the Alice picture and the cards. Did you draw the horse? It's perfectly done!! I agree with Shiloh about the face - it really does look good that way. And pan is lovely!! Pencils? Do you ever do water color?

thanks ! I love the cards too, my favourite bit of the picture the horse and prince were actually both done in watercolour and slightly outlined in biro. and yep for Pan I used pencils

Yeah, I have complete empathy with you! It takes me so long to draw something good from scratch. If i can help it, I trace (lazy's way ). Proportions are a killer! But you know what they say - practice makes perfect. I've tried drawing anime and its a lot of fun. Difficult, though...

That's really beautiful Mouse!! Wow, the Death Angel in particular, that looks very grim. It actually made me wince a little bit. He looks very old. Do you draw often? What do you do, anyway (for a living)? p.s. your elvin eyes are beautifully done!

Why did they kick you off? Because you worked too slowly? Don't worry, at least art isn't something you have to have a certificate to practice.

Copy someone else's art? Why do you have to look at other people's art for inspiration? Can't an idea be inspiration? Ah... don't worry

Reading the thread, and I think that the person doing the grading would need a quantifiable comparision to give a grade.

It's hard to judge ideas on quality, but if you're copying someone else...then it's easier to see skill level. 

Just a thought.
