Wow, Victoria, those are really good!! I especially love the Alice picture and the cards. Did you draw the horse? It's perfectly done!! I agree with Shiloh about the face - it really does look good that way. And pan is lovely!!
Pencils? Do you ever do water color?
Zezie, I see you've used my eye for the pic? (I wish!!!)
Pretty model, is that you?
Nayru, I'm still waiting for your project

Victoria, i checked the horse again and I see now that it's watercolor. It looked like pencil
Do you draw often?
not really, those peices took me FOREVER to do - I've not really got the confidence either tbh
I prefer experimenting with different things that don't require me actually DRAWING; screenprinting, spray paint etc. I actually got kicked off my GCSE art course because I was too slow in finishing things

You're more than welcome!! You can put the Eds'Guild thumbnail in your sig if you want to (you don't have to, though!) And feel free to post some of your edits or other art here!

What's that?
Yeah, I have complete empathy with you! It takes me so long to draw something good from scratch. If i can help it, I trace (lazy's way
). Proportions are a killer! But you know what they say - practice makes perfect. I've tried drawing anime and its a lot of fun. Difficult, though...

That's really beautiful Mouse!! Wow, the Death Angel in particular, that looks very grim. It actually made me wince a little bit. He looks very old. Do you draw often? What do you do, anyway (for a living)? p.s. your elvin eyes are beautifully done!

Very cool! I love it! How did you do that stomach see-through shimmer material? Oh yea, I don't know if I've ever asked you before, but do you use Photoshop?

Oh, ok! Which GCSE's are you doing?
I'm doing:
English Literature

Mathematics
Science Double Award (meaning I get 2 GCSEs in this subject)
History
German
I was doing Art and Graphic Design too but like I say, I got kicked off

well, that and the fact that I didn't properly understand it until it was too late for me to start over. basically this is what we had to do :
1. brainstorm ideas for your project
2. expand on one idea
3. use inspiration from other artists (basically copy someone else's art)
4. finish the final peice
it was a bunch of rubbish anyway. School is such a timewaste. it isn't a learning curve, it's torture ! as for Graphics, again I was too slow so I got booted off lol. wasn't that fun anyway !

Reading the thread, and I think that the person doing the grading would need a quantifiable comparision to give a grade.
It's hard to judge ideas on quality, but if you're copying someone else...then it's easier to see skill level.
Just a thought.
Nayru -- LOVE the elven outfit!

that would be pretty plausible, but it was only 1 of 4 objectives, the final peice (which is meant to be our own ideas) is worth half the marks in the assessment
btw I love your Egyptian bimbo !!
