From what I've read, there are many people who play on this site that have fantastic designs. They have been waiting for comps to showcase them. And, we are not being rude, actually most of the posts have been pretty nice. Just expressing our opinions. Like you, we have them too.
then you give us these amateur photoshopped frilly things that look like they'd be sold in a secondhand store..
That doesnt sound pretty nice to me..sounds plain rude ( i no you didnt write it) but still some people should think about others feelings........

We all have our own opinions. You can't do anything about that. You could say the same thing about certain items at nines. Some things you like, others you don't. It's as simple as that. X

Hey all. Dollphane wasn't asking for your critiques! He's working really hard on getting us all what we want... some NEW CLOTHES! So... if you can't say anything nice about his lovely designs, please don't say anything at all! I mean, we're all entitled to our opinions, but he's the professional! I personally can't WAIT for the new clothes and to see the exciting changes ahead!
ETA: I just reread this, and it comes across as a little bossy/moderatorish. (Which I suppose it was to a degree!) BUT, my point is... Let's be nice to the new designer and give him a chance before ripping him apart! Otherwise, he might just leave and we'll be left with nothing! Change is always a little scary, but it can be exciting and BETTER, too!

Is there a reason that isn't happening?supposedly they won't "share" which is odd to me considering every time I log on to Ma-Bimbo they have more of "our" clothes....
How can "they" not "share"? They are both Nico's sites, right? They could certainly share.

Not meaning to be rude or anything...but when you put preview designs out for everyone to see, people are going to critique it. It's human nature. I don't personally want to be rude to Dollphane (considering he is the one person who is trying to help us) but maybe with the critiques, he'll take them into consideration and try to add or fix things that some people don't like. Not that Dollphane is doing anything wrong so to say, but if you go through life doing something and people keep saying how great that something is (and it isn't) you'll never get any better. (That last line was not directed to our new designer...it was a general statement)

It's more the WAY people were critiquing. I'm all for people making suggestions for items they may want to see, but comparing Dollphane's designs to Nineland's isn't fair. It's like when you watch a TV show and a new actor takes on a role. It takes a while to get used to the new actor, but eventually you DO get used to them and you might even end up liking them BETTER than the original. Or a cover of a someone else's song.
And the comment someone made about Dollphane's design looking like it's from a second-hand store. That was downright rude and unnecessary (and not at all true!). Sure, people are entitled to their opinions, but being mean isn't going to help!

I can't believe how many people are complaining because we will not have the same dresses and haircuts like French version. I personally am not so impressed with French site. Yes, there are some cute clothes, but majority is not very special.... And some haircuts look like bad wigs...
I think that it is very brave to go ahead and change design and content of Bimbo website. Let the French long for our beautiful clothes that our new designer will make.
I think that skirt and top are very sexy... And I am sure, that there will be and more classic designs for every taste.
Great work!!!
Keep it comming!

Hey, does anyone know what levels his clothes will be available to? I was digging that tank top in the other preview...

Please do not get me wrong at all. I was not defending that specific post at all. Some people did get a little "hurtful" in responses and I agree, that is not a good thing. We can be constructive, state our opinions and do not have to hurt some one's feelings at the same time. It is true, that people may get used to Dollphane's designs. In time, we get used to everything. For instance, I got used to paying $4.50 for a gallon of gas, now that I am paying $1 less, I'm thrilled. It doesn't mean that I should like paying $3.50 for gas but it's better than what it was. We all get used to things. In time, I'm sure everyone will get used to the new designs too. But it will take time and an adjustment period. You can't expect less.

I think we should wait to see all the changes to begin to make some kind of opinions. He's a new designer with a new style, so he won't make the same clothes as Nine's.
I think we must be patients ^_^

This is a very good analogy! I'm sure that's exactly how things will turn out.
So, I think I'm understanding this correctly, but all the current clothes will be updated to match the new style? Because I really like the preview items, but I think they'd look odd paired with the items we already have. And will the Bimbo be updated to match as well? I hope so! I really like those nice clean lines on the new designs!

i really don't like these designs. they just look too different. far too cartoon-like.
if the bimbo pose is changing, then does that mean all the OTHER clothes are going to be taken away/redone? i would hate for that to happen, especially if they're going to be done in this cartoon-style.
i've spent money here, and i definitely regret that now that all this is happening.

As was stated, the clothing will have to be re-done for the bimbo and probably for "copyright" issues because Nine created those clothes.

Yeah, that doesn't make any sense to me, either. Unless the person responsible for Nine's designs is unhappy about someone/something exclusive to Miss Bimbo and refuses to cooperate?

why can't we keep the site like it is?
i would gladly sacrifice getting new clothes if that meant we got to keep the clothes we have now and the bimbo we have now.

Please just wait and see. You may end up LOVING everything! It's really hard to tell from four little items of clothing! The site will be changing. Some will love it and some will hate it, but at least give it a chance!
And (to everyone... not just Essential) why don't we wait for the change before we start complaining about it!
Kewl?

let me clarify again, please. I think the designs are good. I think dollphane is talented. It's not the clothes, or the creater I dislike.
But again, I will not play if this becomes another twinky doll.

my thoughts exactly .. these are just previews, weve only seen 3 items of clothing and youve already got preconceptions of his future work here
i think that yeah these items aren't up to nines standards but i still really like them and i'm sure they would look different once they were on your bimbo with a cute top etc.
i think some people need to learn a few manners , yeh honesty is good but i would if i was this guy i would be pretty bummed if i got this (maybe pm's could be more useful here)
Indeed - it'd be nice to post constructive critism here and that's all. Or even pm DP. He's tried hard, and right now.. it appears he's the only one, so let's be grateful and see what he has to offer before jumping the gun. I'd also like to say i would only want the pose of our "bimbos" to change if we can choose which pose she's in! Like there's one, two or even three different poses we can choose and swap around each time we change clothes, so different clothes go onto different poses? 'No need for changes to the current clothes then, eh? I think that would make everyone happy (:. &If it's not at all possible, please let me/us know why, thankyou. Keeping us in the dark isn't going to help.

Well I know the comparison with Nine was inevitable, so...
and also it cannot be easy for you to accept you'll never get all the french clothes you've been waiting sooo long !
I have tons of ideas for new outfits, and I can't wait to make them, an I can assure you there will be lots of styles, from bimbo-ish mini skirts to classy gowns !
But I have to begin somewhere, so I hope you'll like my first outfits !
One question : what does mean "twinky" ? it must be slang because no dictionary can tell me ^^

oooh....I'm sorry, you had no chance of knowing- I got the name wrong lol
here is a picture of a ZWINKY doll.

Lilsway : Thanks for the pic ! Well, you can be relieved, this isn't the kind of game that the developers want ! (and my designs won't be THAT cartoonish ! ^P)
Miyukichan : I TOTALLY love japanese fashion, and it's a big source of inspiration for my comics characters !
But I also like fashion in general, so no problem for me to make more classy or couture outfits !
