Option to turn sigs off?
It would be really nice if there was an option to turn signatures off, or at least some peoples signatures. I don't mind a little bit of glitter or a little funny gif but some people have massive signatures fully of several different flashing, moving and glittering things and it's really becoming a headache while reading threads.
Having several different things going on at once honestly strains my eyes and it would be nice if there was an option to just turn off sigs so I didn't have to avoid certain peoples threads for fear of a headache or that annoying blur you get in your sight when somethings flashing so much that it doesn't go away for ages....sorta like when you look at the sun and you have a red blur in your vision for a while? I apologise for my poor description and comparison there but I'm really not sure how to describe that 
.
Anyway, I know it's not a major problem for most people but I thought it'd be a nice idea.

this is a great idea and now officially one of my favorites. some signatures take forever to load, which is annoying when you want to scroll through certain posts. I agree, some signatures are way to flashy and annoying - I'd love the ability to turn them off. Again, Great Idea!

Yeah that's a good idea.
There was this girl that said that with firefox, you have the option to block certain pictures, she used that to stop all the flashy signatures

aah ask her how! i mean firefox doesnt let me play soduku and messes with my scrolling, but if it could do that as well as the challenges, unlike my safari i might convert

Yeah you just open MissBimbo in firefox, go to someones signature picture, right-click and pick 'Block images from...'
A notice comes up at the top saying 'Firefox will now always block images from ...'

I tried it on Gueld's signature picture and (I think) it blocked all images from the website she got the picture from.

what if they were homemade? i suppose it could block everything from photobucket but then i couldnt see the contest posts and the pictures not from sigs either

I'm here, I'm that girl.
If you use Firefox you can download the AdBlock Plus add-on and use that. It works like a charm.
You have to block something when you see it, but it will persist for anyone's signature that used the same link. Otherwise you have to manually do it again.
Danny, if you see this, can you have this information added to a sticky somewhere? I've repeated it about a million times.

I did this and it works like a charm. Thanks Adacatcher! It will even block whole domains! I'm lovin' it (TM from McDonalds.)
I'll accept all of your *lovely* non staked challenges. If you are at level eleventy billion with a gazillion Bimbo Attitude . . . don't even waste your keystrokes with a staked challenge.
