I write the free letter down somewhere then delete it off the board so I can use the slot.
Next, I type in all my vowels saving Y for the last slot since a lot of words end in Y.
If I get any letters in the right space I delete them so I can use the space to test other letters that might appear in the answer. I always end the second line with S if the first line didn't end in Y. I generally try L,N, R, T, C, S on the second line.
Once I get two in the right spot I use a crossword puzzle dictionary.

I hit the key board, normally with a hammer, untill the word is right

vowels first. I'll write down or commit to memory any letter that i found the slot for/the free letter, and then just go through the full alphabet. i'll try to find the slot for any letters i find as i go through the alphabet, until i find the word. it takes up a lot of tries, but i almost always have the word by the time i'm out of guesses.
Unless i get lucky and manage getting a lot of the letters by chance early on in the game. in which case i'll go ahead and guess at what i feel are the most likely letters.

I start typing AEIOU, and after that I type RSTLN. Then I start to arrange the blue letters until they're in their positions, and if I have at least the first three letters of the word I grab the dictionary and start looking for a word that fits!
A bad strategy...I know...

I first try: aeiou
second try: mnrpts (it's important to keep the s in the last spot since a lot of words end in s)
third try: cbghld
sometimes I'll omit the third try if I have a lot of blue letters. And don't forget about the possibility of a letter being used 2 or 3 times.
Oh, and if I can't get it by the 4th try, I start over. I want that money!

I just try whatever until i get it right.
I think strategys defeat the object of the game.

I go from A to Z after that I'll find the letters on the word then I jus re arrange the order of it, i use the space of the correct letter to guess the other ones, normally if I havent find it by then y google possibilities for a word, I win every time, it works for me.

Hello Bimbos.
I avoid the forums because there is just too much traffic, but once again I have to vent! WHAT IS A COGITO???? OK if you speak Latin, cogito ergo sum = I think therefore I am, but Miss Bimbo is in English not Latin. I have had some strange words from WORDO that I cannot even apply to any language. I do better on the French site EVENTHOUGH I DO NOT SPEAK FRENCH!!!!
I do hope Wordo takes an English course soon.

I always put U, I, O, S, A sometimes E, sometimes T, then a bunch of other random letters. Then when I have nearly all of the word I go on http://www.morewords.com/ like other people here have mentioned.

I always just pick a word at random. Usually I get a few of the letters right. Then for the second line I use a few vowels and a few common letters. Then I google "6 letter words that start with "whatever the word starts with" and I scan the list of words that have the same letters in common that are blue. I rule out any words that have letters in them that were gray and I almost always solve it in 4 tries and get the extra cash.

I start off keeping the first letter, then typing a e i o u. On the next line, I'll arrange the letters I got right, then try r s t, and sometimes y, if there is enough space. Then, still arranging the letters, I try l m n. After that, if I can't already guess the word, I clear all letters and do d f g h j k, then c v z x q w.
