Please fill me in - which countries are likely to get gold inthis then? I know nothing about it.

Its new and that liam guy was the first ever in history to compete at the olympic one. He tried bless him. But the competition was just too much.

Does anyone know who won? I fell asleep.

well i think this is only trials for the other race. im not sure who got fastest in the end. liam was like 27th or something? probably went down a few. our girl is world champion but she fell off. i know one of the frnch girls is like her rival or something so she probably got in though one of thm fell off too aparantly... i kinda fell asleep haha. the results are today though i think they said.

I dont know whether i am just out of the loop, but when i was listening to the radio this morning there seems to be many sports i didnt realise where an olympic sport.

Mike Day of the USA got the fastest time.

Keep an eye out for Sarah Walker of New Zealand in the girls competition. smile

She got 4th fastest time so she's moving on to the Quarters

Shenaze Reade is through to the Semis with the second fastest time. The French lass who had the fastest time after the first time trial stayed fastest despite her wipe-out in the second time trial.

Liam Phillips is out. He was wiped out in the quarter finals when a Dutch rider crashed. Only 5 finished that race. The last 2 were in the crash. He dislocated his shoulder.
