Yeah, there're something like Romaji for Chinese and one of them is called Hanyu Pinyin, or just Pinyin. Hanyu Pinyin is the romanization for Mandarin. There are several romanization systems for Catonese as well, the most common being Jyutping.

I can seak mandarin, the chinese writings I see people writing, some of them turned out alright but some of them are little boxes...

haha.. I am still learning chinese, all on my own and I may not be really good at it. I usually converse to my grandparents in cantonese, so I am ok with it... but I'm more comfortable speaking in English or Malay. smile

I so want to learn Chinese sad ( im so in love with this guy from Tianjin and i am doing my best to learn Chinese but it's so hard .i already have to study at the university i attend German, English, Swedish ,french and old latin and old english. if that wasn't enough i started learning Japanese and korean at home to make chinese sound easier..but now there is this huge language omlet in my head...

for some reason a language omlete sounds really appetizing... i think its cause im hunry..the only german i know is something along the lines of "nine speka de inglish"
(dont know how to spell it) but basically i can only say i dont speak english in german which isnt helpful for i cant speak german but only english a bit of japanese and very very little italian, and even less latin...lol..
